Advanced Latent Fingerprint Workshop (2-Day)

​This 2-day in-depth latent print workshop is designed to “brush up” on your latent print knowledge and skill set. Students will have an intensive hands-on experience covering techniques such as supergluing, powdering/lifting, major case prints, photography of latent prints, and advanced chemicals for print enhancement (including SPR, Amido Black, and more).

**BASIC FRAUD INVESTIGATIONS COURSE** **

5 Day Forensic and Crime Scene Photography Course – Stepped Approach

Course Advertisement: This 5-day crime scene photography course will provide evidence technicians with the opportunity to fine-tune their forensic photography skills. In the first three days of class, students will begin by learning the basics of digital photography and shooting techniques. Then they will learn how to photographically document crime scenes and latent print/impression evidence. Day four of the class allows students to tackle the more challenging aspects of forensic photography, such as shooting with the ALS and Bluestar, bloodstain pattern documentation, and painting with light (low-light photography). Finally, on Day 5 of the class, students will be challenged all day long with multiple scenarios to shoot. Instructors will provide real-time reviews and critiques of their work. This is an intensive hands-on course with plenty of opportunity for individual work to be reviewed by instructors

Forensic Death Investigation Techniques: From Scene to Morgue (NEW)

Course Description: This comprehensive five-day course provides participants with an overview of forensic death investigation, following the investigative process from the initial scene response through postmortem examination. Through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, attendees will learn essential techniques in evidence preservation for human identification efforts, forensic photography, crime scene sketching and mapping, evidence collection and packaging, forensic anthropology, and forensic odontology.

Participants will observe autopsy procedures, gain insight into the role of medical examiner investigators and forensic pathologists, and develop practical skills through search exercises, scene-processing activities, and a realistic mock death scene investigation. The course emphasizes collaboration between law enforcement, crime scene personnel, and medical examiner professionals in conducting thorough and effective death investigations.
